When will Cadence Signal be available?
It is in development now. Sign up below and you will hear the moment the first build is ready for early-access customers.
Which versions of Outlook does it work with?
Classic Outlook for Windows, the new Outlook for Windows, Outlook on the web, Outlook for Mac, and Outlook for iPhone and Android. Mail sent from outside Outlook, such as a scanner or a phone's built-in mail app, gets the signature added on the way out.
Do I need to install anything on each PC?
No. Your Microsoft 365 administrator deploys it once for the whole organization, and every user gets it automatically.
Does it read my email?
The signature feature never touches mailbox content; it reads only directory details such as name, title, department and phone. The junk cleaner is a separate, optional feature that looks only at the Junk Email folder, and only after your administrator turns it on.
How does it pick the right signature?
Each user's company and department in Microsoft Entra ID decide the template, so a group with several companies or divisions gets the right branding for each person, automatically.
