What we collect, why, and the choices you have. In plain English.
Effective November 5, 2026. This policy explains what WalterTaucher LLC, doing business as Coded Cadence Industries (“we”, “us”), collects through taucher.llc and our update emails, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Update signups: your email address and anything you choose to tell us: which products interest you, which description fits you best, a little about yourself, and the features you’d like to see.
- Sales contact requests: if you tick “Have our sales team contact me”, also your phone number, company, how you’d like to be reached and the best time to reach you.
- Emails you send us at info@taucher.llc, and anything you include in them.
Information collected automatically
- Page views. We use Microsoft Azure Application Insights to count visits: the page you viewed, the page that sent you here, your browser and device type, and your approximate location (city, region and country), which is worked out from your IP address. It sets two cookies:
ai_user(an anonymous random ID that lets us count unique visitors, kept up to one year) andai_session(groups one visit together, expires after 30 minutes of inactivity). - Downloads. When you download a program, we record the time, the file, your IP address, your browser, and the page that sent you, so we know how often our tools are downloaded and spot abuse.
- Signup protection. To stop automated signups we keep a scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your IP address for up to a week, and the form may use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused “are you human” check.
We don’t use advertising cookies, ad networks, or tracking pixels, and our update emails don’t track opens or clicks.
How we use it
- To send the update emails you asked for, at most once a week, only for the products you chose.
- To read your feedback and feature ideas, and to reply if you’ve asked a question.
- To have our sales team call or email you, only if you asked them to.
- To understand how the site and our software are used, and to keep the site secure.
Who else handles it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. It is handled only by the service providers that run the site for us:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Subscriber details: until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribing deletes your email address and everything you told us. We keep only a non-reversible marker that the subscription ended.
- Signups never confirmed: deleted after 30 days.
- Visit and download statistics: up to 90 days.
- Sales contact requests: kept by our sales team as business records for as long as needed to follow up and serve you. Ask us anytime to delete them.
- Emails you send us: as long as we need them to help you or keep business records.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of any update email, or the unsubscribe button in your mail app.
- See, correct or delete the information we hold about you: email info@taucher.llc. We’ll respond within 30 days.
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends either signal, the site does not load its page-view statistics or set their cookies.
- Cookies: you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we’ll delete it.
Visitors outside the United States
We’re based in Washington State, and the information described here is stored and processed in the United States. We rely on your consent (you confirm your signup by email) to send update emails. You can withdraw it anytime by unsubscribing, and you can ask us to access, correct or erase your data.
Security
Information is stored in Microsoft Azure with encryption and access limited to us. No system is perfectly secure, but we collect as little as we can and delete it when it’s no longer needed.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant we’ll also mention it in an update email.
