Watches every server

A watchman on every client server. The CCI Server Agent is a small, self-updating program on each client server. Every ten minutes it reports backups, disks, antivirus, restarts, services and failed sign-ins to Orbit, so you hear about a problem before the client does.

01 · What it checks

Problems found
before clients call

  • Backups. Windows Server Backup results, and whether the USB backup drive is plugged in.
  • Disks. Disk health and free space, with a notice at 15 % and an alert under 10 %.
  • Antivirus. Which product is running and whether protection is on.
  • Restarts and services. Pending restarts and any stopped critical service.
  • Lockout risk. Users with repeated failed sign-ins, named before they get locked out.
02 · How it runs

Install once,
forget it

  • Installs in a minute. One downloaded installer per client, run once on the server.
  • Updates itself. New versions roll out to every server automatically.
  • Locked down. Each server has its own key, and new servers can join only during a window a technician opens.
  • Safe commands. Restarts and other actions from Orbit are signed and logged with who sent them.
  • Alerts and reports. Problems show up in Orbit and Helm, and clients get plain-language emails.

Works on Windows Server 2008 R2 and later and needs only outbound HTTPS.
